Tech Lead - Java - SC Cleared (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £475 - £525 per day
 

Tech Lead - Java - SC Cleared

Are you an SC-cleared Tech Lead with strong Java and AWS experience in the public sector? If so, we have some excellent long-term outside IR35 contracts available.

My client is undergoing a major technology transformation programme and has several roles across different workstreams.

Candidates are expected to have strong hands-on coding experience in Java, Multi-Threading, Kafka, Spring Boot, and management experience.

The tech estate is AWS based, with the Back End being Java Spring Boot and the Front End being ReactJS.

Experience required:

  • Active SC clearance (prior or current NPPV is advantageous)
  • Java
  • Multi-Threading
  • Kafka
  • AWS

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance of developers
  • Own tech debt and be responsible to iteratively reduce the backlog
  • Drive consensus with other tech leads in project/account to establish high tech delivery standards
  • Understand business requirements and intention, and translate them into high-level tech implementation
  • Be the active focus of the scrum team(s) to guide and manage technical outcomes

These roles will offer long-term rolling contracts for successful candidates.
