Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst (Permanent)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £85k - £100k per annum
 

Rober Half have partnered with PE backed SASS business.

They are currently building out their finance function as they go through a period of high growth. The goal is to increase annual revenue by more then 500 percent in the next 3 years.

The team are looking for a experienced Mergers & Acquisition Analyst to drive this period of growth. As our M&A analyst you will be responsible for spearheading the analysis, execution, and seamless integration of strategic mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

The role:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential acquisition targets, considering industry trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
  • Assess potential targets through initial screening, analysing financial performance, market positioning, and strategic fit.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for potential transactions, incorporating assumptions, financial statements, and various valuation methodologies.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling to evaluate the impact of different variables on financial outcomes.
  • Oversee financial reporting within the finance function and automate in PowerBi and Netsuite wherever possible (P&L's, Auth dashboards, etc.).
  • Advise and support the Revenue and Expense financial analysts as required.
  • Evaluate target company financials, contracts, intellectual property, customer relationships, and other critical aspects to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Your profile:

  • Proficient in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to connect data points to drive business decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced Power-BI skills.
