Network Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)
Location: City of London Country: UK
Robert Half is currently engaging with a UK-based health care organisation that is looking to recruit a network infrastructure engineer on an initial 3-month contract.
Role:
The network infrastructure engineer will be working closely with the Infrastructure Team to maintain the on-premise and Azure network and platform infrastructure. You will be responsible for the following:
- LAN & Wi-Fi - 3rd party collaboration and management - Juniper and Aruba
- Azure landing zones
- Azure cloud migrations
- WAN - monitoring & 3rd party collaboration
- Unified Comms management
- Servers & Storage management
- Cloud Configuration - Azure Networking and Tenants
- Cloud Infrastructure Hosting (Infrastructure as a Service)
- Backup and Recovery Services - Commvault
- Service Decommissioning
- Firewall Management - 3rd party collaboration - Fortinet
Profile:
The Network and Platform Engineer should have the following requirements:
- Experience working in a small team covering both the infrastructure and network azure environment
- Experience of Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2022
- Experience of security patching and backups (Commvault)
- Any experience of Infrastructure as Code advantageous
- Understand and experience change management.
- Trained in ITIL and understands the importance within an IT function.
- Formal Microsoft Certifications
