Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: Cheshire Country: UK Rate: £345 - £350 per day + Inside IR35
 

Business Analyst - Payments and Credit Cards

Location: Northampton or Cheshire (On-site 2 days per week)
Day Rate: £350 inside
Length: 6 months initial contract with extensions likely

Mandatory Requirements:
* Recent experience working with enterprise-level financial services organisations in the UK.
* Proficiency in payments and credit card domains.
* Availability to travel to client site in Northampton or Cheshire for 2 days per week.

* Role Description: Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in payments and credit cards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with enterprise-level financial institutions in the UK and possess in-depth knowledge of payments and credit card processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to payments and credit cards.
* Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
* Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
* Participate in testing and validation of payment and credit card solutions.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
* Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in the payments and credit card domains.
* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on payments and credit cards.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
* Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to payments and credit cards.
* Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
* Proficiency in documentation tools and techniques.
* Certification in business analysis or related field is a plus.

Note: Only candidates with recent experience working in enterprise-level financial services organisations in the UK will be considered for this role. Travel to client site in Northampton or Cheshire for 2 days per week is mandatory.
