CUSTOMER SERVICE - LANCASTER - OFFICE BASED - MONDAY-FRIDAY - 9AM-5PM - START ASAP

Your new company
You'll be working for a large public sector organisation based in Lancaster, who provide services across the Lancashire area. The company is searching for a professional Customer Service Coordinator to join their growing team. This role will involve directly supporting colleagues and directors within the office and working as part of a team. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Your new role
This is a widely varied position that requires support in different areas of the business. As Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking inbound calls and passing messages on to relevant departments.
  • Making outbound calls to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Using a variety of different in-house systems to keep record of all conversations.
  • Ensuring you follow the department's processes and procedures whilst guaranteeing all information is correct.
  • Working alongside other team members to ensure all administration work is completed efficiently and within an allocated time frame.
  • What you'll need to succeed
    To be successful in securing this position, you should have strong customer service skills, an exceptional telephone manner, excellent in Microsoft packages, including excel and a great desire to help others. Alongside this, the successful candidate must demonstrate high levels of accuracy, be self-motivated and illustrate your own initiative. Previous customer service experience in an office-based setting is required.
    What you'll get in return
    In return, you will have the opportunity to join a large, well-known organisation. You will receive weekly pay at an hourly rate between £12.00-£14.00. This role is a temporary position for a period of 3 months initially. There will be an opportunity for this to be extended or even made permanent dependent on performance and business needs. The role is predominately office based, however, there may be an opportunity to work 1-2 days from home, following completion of training.What you need to do now
